The Patent Technology for Advanced Contact Lens Care

Following years of dedicated research, the R&D teams of 3N have eventually realized the application of「Elepy 2.0 Technology for Electrophoretic Dissociation」.

The use of protein in a specific environment with a negative charge, and the characteristics of swimming in the electric field to the anode, which allows the tear protein in the electric field from the lens stripped; followed by electrolysis of sodium chloride solution (multi-functional care solutions all contain) to generate hypochlorous acid. Moreover, ClO- further decomposes the tear protein into small molecules of protein and amino acids, thereby achieving the purpose of cleaning contact lenses, in addition to providing a safer and more comfortable wearing environment for everyone. 

Under experimental conditions, the ReO2 Contact Lens Cleaner can be used with the multi-functional care solution to achieve a tear protein removal rate of 94.70%*. 

*Note: A third-party testing institution, Suzhou Biotop Technical Service Co., Ltd. designed the experiment in accordance with the Cleaning and Protein Removal Effectiveness Test Protocol 3N-TP- 01 while calculating the protein content on the lenses before and after cleaning by means of protein absorbance at a wavelength of 280 nm with an ultra-micro-UV spectrophotometer.

If you wear contact lenses on a regular basis, apart from tear protein deposits, bacteria, and germs also tend to adhere to the contact lenses, which also adds to the crisis of eye infections if you hastily deal with lens hygiene. 

Apart from removing tear proteins, the ReO2 Contact Lens Cleaner also exhibits excellent sterilization effects against four common pathogens: Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Candida albicans, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. According to the test report, the sterilization rate for these microorganisms reaches 99.999%* under experimental conditions. This adds another 'protective umbrella' to our contact lenses.

Restored oxygen permeability at 94.4%* 

Enhances wearing safety and comfort 

It has become a consensus that we should select contact lenses with high oxygen permeability. Nevertheless......the original good oxygen permeability of lenses is probably「depleted」 by you, the increased amount of impurities deposited on the lenses will cause the oxygen permeability to drop to a certain extent, while you may not be willing to wear the original 3-month life of seasonal disposable lenses after wearing them for just one month. 

As the hope of contact lens cleaning, helping to restore the oxygen permeability of lenses is what 3N is capable of. Lenses treated with ReO2 Contact Lens Cleaner with 3N special cleaning solution can restore the oxygen permeability coefficient in an effective manner, with oxygen permeability restored to 94.4%* of the original lens oxygen permeability.

*Note: The third-party testing institution and Inspection Institute conducted experiments in accordance with the Soft Contact Lens Oxygen Permeability Coefficient Test Scheme, in which the experimental group of unwearying original lenses was compared with the experimental group of lenses soaked in artificial tears at a constant temperature of 40°C and placed in the cleaning bin of 3N Contact Lens Oxygen Permeability Reducer after cleaning (with 3N special cleaning solution added to the cleaning bin concurrently), resulting in a calculated oxygen permeability reduction rate of 94.4%. 

The only way to preserve the life of your contact lenses is to maintain a favorable oxygen permeability, which means you can wear them for the whole life cycle.
