That’s why your contact lenses feel cloudy, dry, and uncomfortable.
Troublesome RGP Contacts Experience?
Eye Irritation?
Protein buildup, bacterial growth, and solution residue can all lead to discomfort when wearing RGP lenses. The traditional care process for RGP lenses can be quite intricate, often resulting in lingering protein deposits, bacterial growth, and solution residue. This is why you may frequently experience irritation while wearing RGP lenses.
Never Feel Clean Enough?
Currently, there is no one-stop solution that can meet all your RGP lens cleaning requirements. You typically require a standard solution for daily use, a specialized protein solution for removing protein deposits, and possibly a hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) solution for effectively eliminating bacteria. Skipping any of these crucial steps can leave your RGP lenses less than thoroughly cleaned, which may explain why you often feel that your RGP lenses are not as clean as you'd like them to be.
Blurry/Cloudy Over Time?
Traditional solutions often incorporate surfactants. Surfactants are not easily eliminated, even with manual rubbing, after soaking. When you wear RGP lenses, these surfactants tend to blend with proteins, forming stubborn deposits on the surface of the RGP lens. Over time, these deposits can evolve into a film that is exceedingly challenging to remove, resulting in a cloudy and unclear lens.
Damage Lens?
Traditional care for RGP lenses always necessitates hand rubbing to eliminate surface deposits. However, this hand rubbing approach poses a dual risk – it can lead to both scratching your delicate RGP lens and potentially damaging your valuable investment.
Expensive Spending On Solutions?
Caring for RGP lenses can be complex and costly, requiring daily solutions, protein removal solutions, and hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) solutions. These expenses accumulate, resulting in a significant annual cost.
Beyond Soaking: The science of ReO2
ReO2 RGP has the remarkable capability to produce hypochlorous acid during the cleaning process. Hypochlorous acid, found in our cells, naturally eliminates up to 99.999% of bacteria, and endorsed as safe by the World Health Organization (WHO).
Powered by Electrophoresis, our technology acts like a molecular magnet to draw out deep-seated impurities.
- 95% Deep Protein Removal: The first cleaner to achieve this milestone, removing 7× more buildup than passive soaking—even from microscopic pores.
- 95% Oxygen Restore: Revives breathability for a true "like-new" lens feel, every single day.
Standard Clean | 10 min
A quick daytime refresh that dissolves daily tear film and oils, completely eliminating evening dryness.
Enhanced Clean | 30 min
A deep weekly cycle that lifts stubborn, locked-in buildup to completely erase foreign body sensation.
ReO2 features a specialized after-cleaning rinsing function that, through the generation of a gentle fluid flow, effectively cleans the RGP lens while also removing any lingering deposits on its surface. The end result is a spotless RGP lens, ready for your use.
1. What types of lenses are compatible with ReO2 RGP?
ReO2 RGP is specifically designed for Rigid Gas Permeable (RGP) and Orthokeratology (Ortho-K) lenses.
To ensure proper cleaning performance, the lens diameter must not exceed 14.5 mm.
For safety and optimal results, ReO2 RGP should only be used with preservative-free 0.9% saline solution. Do not use multipurpose solutions, peroxide-based solutions, or any saline containing preservatives.
2. How often should I replace the cleaning capsule?
We recommend replacing the cleaning capsule approximately every 3 months with regular use to maintain optimal cleaning performance and hygiene.
3. Do I need to rinse my lenses after cleaning?
Yes. After the cleaning cycle is completed, we strongly recommend rinsing your lenses with fresh preservative-free 0.9% saline solution within 10 minutes before wearing them.
